In December, I presented the results of my research to date at the DRI research meeting, titled "Issues observed from tsunami evacuation drills at childcare facilities". It is clear that childcare facilities face difficulties in evacuating, and the first priority should be to relocate them to higher ground that are safe from tsunami. I would like to thank all people involved in the childcare facilities who cooperated in the survey and to the senior researchers for their guidance.
